Kristen is a 2015 graduate of Southern Methodist University’s Meadows School of the Arts (Dallas, TX), where she received her Masters in Vocal Performance under Barbara Hill-Moore. She received her Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance at Columbus State University (Columbus,GA) in 2013, where she studied with Earl Coleman.  In 2014 she travelled to South Africa in collaboration with the UKZN Opera School, singing Julie Jordan in Rodgers and Hammerstein's Carousel. In production with the Meadows Opera Theatre, Kristen starred in the roles of Rubie in Charlie McCarron’s new opera Mobile Home, Sandrina in Mozart’s La finta giardiniera, and Mrs. Hayes in Carlisle Floyd's Susannah. She has worked alongside Johnny Fuller and the New Life Symphony Orchestra in Dallas, TX, singing Mahler's Symphony No. 4 and Classic Film Scores by Rodgers and Hammerstein. 

 

She has been featured singing the roles of Adina in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore, Josephine in Gilbert and Sullivan’s HMS Pinafore, Sally in Clark Gesner’s You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, and Belle in Alan Menken’s Beauty and the Beast. Kristen has received numerous first-place awards in both Georgia and Texoma NATS competitions in both the classical and musical theatre divisions.

 

Kristen is the co-creator of Wilder Garten, a collaborative collective, where she sings lead vocals and synth and collaborates with other creative minds in order to create a community where all are welcome to express themselves. As a solo artist, Kristen is known as Kreatress. She is constantly exploring her voice and experimenting with sounds in a variety of performance settings. As a spiritual being, Kristen also leads mantra sessions, women's circles, and rituals in collaboration with other women in Berlin. She is a private voice teacher as well as a teacher at Little Music Makers, a music school for early childhood music, where she leads music classes for children and their parents.
